Jimmy Pimentel is a prominent figure in Northern Nevada, where he resides with his family. Born and raised in California's Central Valley, Jimmy has deep roots in the region's community and culture. He is married to Allison Pimentel, and together they have four wonderful children: Jocelyn, Miley, Paige, and Jarrett.
Jimmy's love for sports began at an early age, he then played football at Merced Junior College, where he also walked onto the summer baseball team. After his college ball experience, Jimmy continued to play adult fastpitch softball in his free time, maintaining his connection to the sport he loves.
He fell in love with the game of softball as a young kid, drawn to its challenges. He found that the sport tested him physically, emotionally, and mentally, which only fueled his passion for it. Even when the game didn't seem to love him back, Jimmy embraced the grind and discovered a lifelong dedication to the benefits sports could teach you.
Jimmy has been coaching various sports since he was 21 years old and has been coaching competitive softball for almost 10 years. His journey into softball coaching began when his oldest daughter, Jocelyn, fell in love with the sport, a passion that soon spread to all his daughters. His commitment to his players and the game has made him a respected mentor in the community.
As a coach, Jimmy's goal is to instill in his athletes the resilience and perseverance to never quit, even when things get tough. He believes in teaching them to find ways to succeed and always have faith in themselves. He emphasizes that with continued determination, they can achieve their goals. While this philosophy applies to the game, he hopes that these traits will stick with his athletes throughout life in all aspects.
